Details:MAINTENANCE Superintendent    Westlake Chemical Corporation is a manufacturer of petrochemicals and plastics located at sites throughout the US and Canada.  We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Superintendent at our North American Pipe Corporation plant in Litchfield, IL.       The Maintenance Superintendent reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for directing maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.  This includes:           Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.         Schedules repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.         Develops preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.         Plans, develop and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operation costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.         Supervises employees in Maintenance.   The ideal candidate will posses a High School Diploma or GED with at least five years of progressive experience in plastics extrusion (PVC pipe a plus), including a minimum of 5 years experience in a management/supervisory role.  Must also demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities, and effective management skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate in a written and verbal manner.    North American Pipe Corporation offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
